HAL•Halliburton has begun a DFIT at Elixir Energy’s Lorelle-3H appraisal well in Queensland, launching an 11-stage fracture stimulation using around six million pounds (2,720 tonnes) of proppant under its new integrated services contract. Halliburton partnered with Elixir Energy at the Lorelle-3H appraisal well, leading the DFIT and securing an integrated services package for reservoir pressure diagnostics and multi-stage stimulation design.

The program entails an 11-stage stimulation deploying roughly six million pounds (2,720 tonnes) of proppant across the horizontal well, followed by a 3-5 day flow-back period and tubing installation before formal production testing.
