HBT Financial posted Q2 net income of $27.84 million, up 44.8% from a year earlier; diluted EPS rose to $0.76.
Expenses, deposits and loans increase
Noninterest expense increased 33% to $42.45 million, including $0.3 million of CNB acquisition-related costs.
Total deposits rose 32.1% to $5.76 billion; loans held for investment increased 37.5% to $4.75 billion following the CNB acquisition.
Net interest income and margin improve
Net interest income climbed 39.1% to $69.06 million; net interest margin widened 18 basis points to 4.32%.
