HCA Healthcare names Michael Schlosser chief clinical officer effective Sept. 1

HCA Healthcare named Michael Schlosser executive vice president, chief clinical officer, effective Sept. 1, 2026.
Schlosser is senior vice president, chief transformation officer; previously group chief medical officer for the National Group.
He will succeed Michael Cuffe, who will step down Aug. 31; Cuffe will serve as executive consultant through February 2027.
New ambulatory operations role for Charles Gressle
Charles Gressle will become president of the new Ambulatory Operations Group on Sept. 1; he currently leads the East Florida Division.
Gressle will oversee physician services, urgent care, physician practice operations, surgery ventures within a network of more than 2,700 facilities.
