Heron Therapeutics signs U.S. multi-product development and license deal with Long Grove Pharmaceuticals
HRTX•Heron Therapeutics signed a multi-product development and license agreement with Long Grove Pharmaceuticals, covering an exclusive U.S. license and a non-exclusive worldwide manufacturing license. The agreement lasts 10 years from the first commercial sale and automatically renews for two-year periods.
1. License agreement terms
The agreement grants Long Grove an exclusive, sublicensable U.S. license to import, distribute, sell and market certain products covered by licensed patents. Heron also granted a non-exclusive worldwide manufacturing license for products sold in the U.S. Long Grove is eligible for regulatory and sales-based milestones and royalties, while Heron will be reimbursed for certain expenses. Capstone is providing exclusivity covenants.
