Higher gold prices drive Eldorado Gold's Q3 2026 earnings growth
EGO•Eldorado Gold reported third-quarter 2026 net earnings from continuing operations of $118 million, up from $56.5 million a year earlier. Full-year gold production guidance fell to 425,000–475,000 ounces from 495,000–600,000 ounces.
1. Earnings and production
Third-quarter net earnings from continuing operations rose to $118 million from $56.5 million a year earlier. Management attributed the increase to higher realized gold prices, foreign exchange gains and lower depreciation, partly offset by rising costs.
2. Output and guidance
Gold production fell to 106,351 ounces from 115,190 ounces, primarily because of lower grades at Kisladag and Efemcukuru, partly offset by Lamaque. Operating cash flow declined to $134.8 million from $170.2 million, reflecting commodity swap settlements, working capital movements and operating pressures. Full-year production guidance fell to 425,000–475,000 ounces from 495,000–600,000 ounces, reflecting weaker operating output and Skouries’ slower ramp-up.
