HKEX partners with S&P Dow Jones Indices to launch S&P 500 & HKEX Tech 100 Index
SPGI•HKEX and S&P Dow Jones Indices launched a co-branded index on Sept. 30, 2026, targeting about 40% S&P 500 exposure and 60% HKEX Tech 100 exposure. It will be rebalanced quarterly and aims to support ETFs seeking potential eligibility for Southbound Stock Connect.

HKEX partnered with S&P Dow Jones Indices to launch the S&P 500 & HKEX Tech 100 Index, blending U.S. large-cap exposure with Hong Kong-listed technology stocks. The index launched on Sept. 30, 2026, and its quarterly rebalancing structure aims to support ETFs seeking potential eligibility for Southbound Stock Connect.
