Home Bancorp said second-quarter net income and earnings per share edged up from the prior quarter, as net interest income and net interest margin rose on loan and deposit growth.
The company reported second-quarter earnings per share of $1.48, net income of $11.6 million, net interest income of $35.8 million and net interest margin of 4.24%.
Drivers of the quarter
Loan growth in the quarter was driven by increases in commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, and multi-family residential lending, partially offset by declines in construction and land loans.
