Honeywell Aerospace sees business aviation growth on rising aircraft use
HONA•Honeywell Aerospace expects 9,950 new business jet deliveries worldwide from 2026 through 2035, up 4.4% from last year's forecast. It also expects about 4,200 turboprop deliveries and a 29% increase in the global business aviation fleet.
1. Delivery forecast rises
Honeywell Aerospace raised its forecast for new business jet deliveries worldwide to 9,950 between 2026 and 2035, a 4.4% increase from last year. The forecast includes about 4,200 turboprop deliveries, bringing total aircraft deliveries to roughly 14,000; the global business aviation fleet is expected to grow about 29% over the decade.
2. Aircraft use increases
The company expects global business aviation flight hours to rise about 34% through 2035, outpacing fleet growth as charter and fractional ownership support higher aircraft utilization. President of Commercial Original Equipment Linnea Whisler said owners and operators are flying more, ordering jets, expanding fleets and investing in innovations. North America remained the largest market, while demand was growing in Latin America and parts of Asia-Pacific, including India; conflict in the Middle East had disrupted flight operations and paused development activity in the region.
