Honeywell reports higher sales and backlog in Q2 FY26
Honeywell posted 2Q 2026 EPS of $17.83, up 312% year over year, reflecting a one-time gain on deconsolidation of Quantinuum.
Net sales rose 4% to $9.72 billion year over year; orders increased 4%, lifting backlog to about $38 billion.
Operating income fell 6% to $1.74 billion; operating margin narrowed 1.9 percentage points to 17.9%.
Cash provided by operating activities rose 20% to $1.28 billion; free cash flow climbed 43% to $1.25 billion.
CEO Vimal Kapur said the quarter marked completion of Honeywell Aerospace’s separation, positioning Honeywell Technologies as a pure-play automation company.
