Hotel101 Global to Build 770-Room Bangkok Hotel with 1.925B Baht Sales
HBNB•Hotel101 Global signed binding agreements with Origin Property PCL to develop a 770-room Hotel101 in Bangkok on an 8,336 sqm site near Don Mueang Airport and Yaek Kor Por Aor BTS station, expected to generate approximately 1.925 billion baht in sales revenue. Completion is slated for 2029 as part of its global expansion strategy.
1. Project Details and Location
The joint venture will develop Hotel101-Bangkok on an 8,336 sqm prime site along Phahon Yothin Road, adjacent to Yaek Kor Por Aor BTS station and near Don Mueang International Airport. The property will feature approximately 770 rooms, positioning it among the top three largest hotels in Bangkok by room count.
2. Expected Financial Impact
Pre-sales of individual condotel units are projected to generate about 1.925 billion baht (US$58 million) in revenue upon full sell-out. The development is scheduled for completion by 2029, contributing to recurring operations revenue once the hotel is operational.
3. Joint Venture Structure
Hotel101 Global and Origin Property PCL will co-develop the project under definitive binding agreements, leveraging Origin Property’s local expertise and Hotel101’s standardized condotel model. The partnership underscores an asset-light approach, sharing development risks and potential returns.
4. Role in Global Expansion Strategy
This project advances Hotel101 Global’s medium-term goal of operating in 25 countries and its long-term ambition of one million rooms across 100 markets. Bangkok’s northern corridor was selected for its modern infrastructure, transport links, and growing commercial and tourism demand.
