Houlihan Lokey served as adviser on 30 consumer M&A transactions in 2025, the highest among financial advisors in the sector, driven by food-related mandates including a Kraft Heinz asset sale in Italy.
2. Morgan Stanley Tops by Value
Morgan Stanley advised on nine consumer-sector deals totaling $79.71bn, with four billion-dollar transactions and two mega deals exceeding $10bn, including the €15.7bn Keurig Dr Pepper acquisition of JDE Peet’s.
3. Comparative Rankings
Goldman Sachs ranked second by deal value with $65.13bn, JPMorgan advised on 11 deals worth $57.3bn, and Rothschild & Co. held second place in volume with 20 transactions, followed by Spayne Lindsay, Lazard and Deloitte.
