HSBC files HKEX next-day disclosure return on share buyback cancellation

HSBC filed a next-day disclosure return showing 20,000 shares cancelled on Sept. 9 following U.K. buybacks.
The cancelled shares were repurchased at GBP 15.71 per share on Sept. 4 and GBP 15.78 per share on Sept. 7.
The issued share count fell to 17,160,052,183 as of Sept. 9.
