HSBC files HKEX next-day disclosure return, reports share buyback cancellation

HSBC reported 10,000 ordinary shares repurchased and cancelled, cutting issued shares to 17,160,042,183 as of Sept. 10, 2026.

The cancellation followed a UK buyback at a volume-weighted average price of GBP 15.65 per share.
