HSBC files HKEX next-day return disclosing share buyback cancellation at GBP 15.29
HSBC•HSBC reports share buyback cancellations and updated issued share count
HSBC disclosed the cancellation of 1,370,000 shares, repurchased in the UK at a volume-weighted average price of GBP 15.29.
Issued share count fell to 17,180,853,842 as of Aug. 14.
Separately, the group repurchased 1,300,000 shares on Aug. 14 for cancellation at GBP 15.27 in the UK.
It also bought back 580,000 shares in Hong Kong on Aug. 14 for cancellation at HKD 161.56.
