HSBC Upgrades Albemarle to Buy; Reports $333m Bromine Sales, 28% Water Cut
HSBC upgraded Albemarle to buy following stronger lithium outlook for EV and data center battery markets. In its fourth-quarter and full-year 2024 results, the company reported $333 million in net sales for its bromine-focused specialties segment and achieved a 28% reduction in freshwater intensity at its La Negra facility.
