Huntington Bancshares cuts annual net interest income growth outlook

Shares of lender Huntington Bancshares HBAN.O were marginally down in premarket trading.
HBAN disclosed updated financial targets ahead of its participation in the Barclays Global Financial Services Conference.
The bank cut its FY26 net interest income (NII) growth outlook to about 35%, from 39%-43%, based on an FY25 NII baseline of $6.06 billion.
It said higher-for-longer rates and competitive dynamics are pressuring deposit costs.
Huntington also cut its FY26 implied revenue growth forecast to about 34% from about 37%, based on an FY25 revenue baseline of $8.28 billion.
