This award comes after the completion of the 42nd Lionfish vehicle at HII’s Pocasset facility, underscoring program momentum.
2. REMUS 300 Platform Features
The Lionfish SUUV is based on HII’s commercial REMUS 300 platform, featuring a modular, open-architecture design that allows rapid payload integration and future upgrades. Its multi-mission capabilities support mine countermeasures, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, anti-submarine warfare and electronic warfare, and it is the Navy’s first cyber-compliant undersea vehicle in production.
