Huntington Securities, a Huntington Bancshares unit, launched an equity research platform for Huntington Capital Markets clients.
- Initial coverage targets REITs and utilities to support institutional investors and corporate clients across capital markets, sales and trading.
- Rob Stevenson was hired to lead REIT research, and Michael Gaugler was hired to lead utilities research.
- The move follows last year’s acquisition of three capital-markets units, adding nearly 140 professionals across M&A advisory, fixed income and public finance.
