Hycroft Engages RESPEC to Plan Underground Silver Mining and Joins VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF
Hycroft has engaged RESPEC to evaluate underground mining methods and design an exploration decline for high-grade silver systems at Brimstone and Vortex, aiming to reduce drilling time and costs. Tailings facility expansion engineering is complete, and Hycroft has been added to the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF.
1. Underground Mining Assessment
Hycroft has engaged RESPEC to review underground mining options for high-grade silver at the Brimstone and Vortex systems. Scope includes mining method evaluation, conceptual decline design and schedule development to enhance drilling efficiency and explore early production prospects.
2. Tailings Facility Expansion
WestLand has completed engineering work for additional lifts on the tailings storage facility to accommodate resource growth. With TSF capacity expanded, Ausenco will finalize the Initial Assessment Technical Report with preliminary economics in Q2 2026.
3. ETF Inclusion Implications
Hycroft has been added to the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF, reflecting its expanded resource base and high-grade silver discoveries. Inclusion is expected to increase institutional visibility and broaden the company's investor base within the precious metals sector.
