Shares fall after quarterly results
Shares of investment company Icahn Enterprises (IEP.O) fell 4% to $7.43 after the company reported a wider second-quarter loss and a drop in indicative net asset value.
- The company reported a Q2 loss attributable to IEP of $355 million for the three months ended June 30, compared with a loss of $165 million in the year-ago period.
- Indicative net asset value was about $2.6 billion as of June 30, a decrease of $765 million compared with March 31.
- Including the session's move, the stock was down 1.9% year to date.
