ImmunoTech Completes Phase 2 Enrollment in DURIPANC, Eyes December Endpoint
AIM•AIM ImmunoTech completed enrollment of its Phase 2 DURIPANC trial combining Ampligen and durvalumab in metastatic pancreatic cancer and will evaluate six-month clinical benefit rate in December 2026. A separate item on Coiled Therapeutics appointing Professor Ozgur Sahin holds no operational significance for AIM ImmunoTech.
1. Mid-Year DURIPANC Interim Update
AIM ImmunoTech announced mid-year progress in its DURIPANC Phase 2 study evaluating Ampligen (rintatolimod) combined with AstraZeneca’s durvalumab in metastatic pancreatic cancer. Enrollment of the final patient is complete, and the trial remains on track for a December 2026 evaluation of the clinical benefit rate—defined as stable disease or response at six months.
2. Named Patient Program Historical Results
In a prior 57-subject Named Patient Program of Ampligen monotherapy, late-stage pancreatic cancer patients achieved a median overall survival of 19.7 months versus 8.6 months standard of care. Patients with neutrophil/lymphocyte ratios below 4.5 saw median survival of 34.8 months—a 22.3-month improvement—alongside reported quality-of-life gains.
3. Phase 3 Development Plans
The company is planning a pivotal Phase 3 trial combining Ampligen with a PD-1 inhibitor to assess overall survival and progression-free survival in a larger cohort. Positive safety and tolerability profiles from prior studies support preparations to position Ampligen as a potential new standard of care for late-stage pancreatic cancer.
