Incyte reports 71% response rate for INCA33890 combination in Phase 1 colorectal cancer trial
INCY•Incyte reported a 71% response rate for an INCA33890 combination in a Phase 1 colorectal cancer trial. The company also presented early-stage results for INCB161734 and said results from its ongoing Phase 3 INCA33890 trial are expected in 2029.
1. Early trial results
Incyte presented early-stage results for INCB161734 and INCA33890 at the ESMO Congress 2026. INCB161734 combinations showed durable responses in pancreatic cancer and antitumor activity in previously treated colorectal cancer, with manageable safety. INCA33890 with standard therapies showed preliminary activity across microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer patient groups, also with manageable safety; its combination reported a 71% response rate in a Phase 1 colorectal cancer trial.
2. Trial timelines
Incyte expects Phase 3 pancreatic cancer results for INCB161734 in 2028, and its colorectal cancer trial should begin in the first half of 2027. Results from the ongoing Phase 3 trial of INCA33890 with chemotherapy and bevacizumab in first-line microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer are expected in 2029.
