Indonesia Energy reported initial oil production from its newly drilled K-29 well in the 63,000-acre Kruh Block in Sumatra. The well was drilled to 3,400 feet and is currently producing about 60% oil, with a 40% water cut; the company plans a hydraulic fracturing operation to lift output.
2. Next well planned
Rig-up is underway at the WK-5 location, where spudding is targeted by the end of October. The well is planned to reach 5,200 feet and will target additional formations identified through 3-D seismic work, including a potential natural gas-bearing zone.
