Infleqtion Expands Superstaq Collaborations with DOE Labs, Shares Jump 4.4%
Infleqtion shares rose over 4% Monday after the company expanded collaborations with Sandia and Lawrence Berkeley national labs and launched a Superstaq partnership with Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Renewed agreements with Sandia’s QSCOUT and Berkeley’s Advanced Quantum Testbed include licensing and technical integration to enhance scalability and reliability.
1. Expanded DOE Laboratory Collaborations
Infleqtion announced it is deepening its work with Sandia National Laboratories and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory while launching a new partnership with Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. All three efforts focus on deploying Superstaq, the company’s quantum-software platform, to help national lab researchers optimize quantum programs on actual hardware.
2. Renewed QSCOUT and Advanced Quantum Testbed Agreements
Infleqtion has supported Sandia’s QSCOUT testbed and Berkeley Lab’s Advanced Quantum Testbed since 2021, tailoring Superstaq to each system’s specific hardware. The renewed agreements include licensing and close technical collaboration to integrate performance improvements that boost testbed reliability and scalability as they grow.
3. New Fermilab Partnership
The new collaboration extends Superstaq support to the Superconducting Quantum Materials and Systems Center at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, recently renewed as a DOE National Quantum Information Science Research Center. Infleqtion will work with Fermilab researchers to prepare and run quantum programs optimized for SQMS’s superconducting quantum materials research objectives.
