Infosys Integrates Anthropic’s Claude into Topaz AI, Expands ExxonMobil Cooling Tie-Up
On February 17, Infosys partnered with Anthropic PBC to integrate Claude models into its Topaz AI suite for automated workflows, legacy modernization and cost reduction. On February 12, it broadened its ExxonMobil tie-up to deploy immersion cooling in data centers via Topaz and Cobalt, cutting energy costs and emissions.
1. Partnership with Anthropic PBC
Infosys and Anthropic PBC announced a strategic collaboration on February 17 to integrate Anthropic’s Claude models into Infosys’s Topaz AI platform. The partnership will deliver AI agents capable of persistent orchestration across complex processes, automate workflows, modernize legacy systems and reduce infrastructure costs for clients in telecommunications and financial services, with plans to extend to software development and manufacturing.
2. Expansion of ExxonMobil Data Center Cooling
On February 12, Infosys broadened its alliance with ExxonMobil to implement immersion cooling in data centers, leveraging ExxonMobil’s specialized fluids alongside Infosys’s Topaz AI and Cobalt cloud services. This expansion aims to boost energy efficiency, performance, reliability and sustainability, helping enterprises and governments cut energy expenses and carbon emissions as demand for AI and high-performance computing grows.
