INFU•InfuSystem postponed its third-quarter earnings release while reviewing whether to capitalize $4.2 million in ERP implementation costs expensed from July 1, 2024, to March 1, 2026. Any adjustment would be noncash and would not affect revenue or cash balances.
1. Accounting review
InfuSystem postponed its third-quarter earnings release, which had been scheduled for November 3, while it reviews whether $4.2 million in ERP implementation costs should be capitalized. The costs were expensed from July 1, 2024, to March 1, 2026, when the ERP system launched.
2. Potential adjustment
If capitalized, the costs would be amortized over the remaining three-year term of the software subscription agreement. Any adjustment would be noncash, with no effect on revenue or cash balances. InfuSystem said it will announce a revised earnings release and conference call date as soon as practicable.
