Innodata Wins Palantir Data Engineering Pact, Secures MDA SHIELD Defense Contract
Innodata was selected by Palantir on January 29 to deliver specialized annotation, multimodal data engineering and generative AI workflow support, integrating into development pipelines for video imagery and geospatial sensor data. On January 20 it secured a Missile Defense Agency SHIELD contract to compete for research, engineering and prototyping orders.
1. Palantir Partnership Details
On January 29 Innodata was chosen by Palantir to provide high-quality training data and data engineering services. The scope includes specialized annotation, multimodal data engineering and generative AI workflow support, with Innodata teams embedding directly into Palantir’s development and deployment pipelines to process video imagery and geospatial sensor data, aiming to enhance computer vision and analytics capabilities.
2. SHIELD Defense Contract
On January 20 Innodata secured a contract with the Missile Defense Agency for the Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) program. Under this agreement Innodata will compete for future task orders covering research, engineering and prototyping of missile defense systems, marking an expansion into federal defense applications.
