1. Quarterly results and outlook
Insperity reported third-quarter adjusted EBITDA of $31 million, above the $30.43 million consensus, while operating income was a $2 million loss. Revenue growth was driven by increased pricing, which offset a decline in average paid worksite employees; lower operating expenses mainly reflected reduced compensation costs from a smaller corporate staff. For the fourth quarter, Insperity expects adjusted EPS of $0.07 to $0.42 and adjusted EBITDA of $24 million to $44 million.
