IDCC•InterDigital signed a patent license agreement with Amazon covering Fire TV, Kindle and Prime Video devices, ending a 2025 dispute over Videocodex video-compression patents. 2. Revenue Projections

3. Legal Dispute Background
The dispute originated in 2025 over InterDigital’s Videocodex patent portfolio, which Amazon was accused of infringing across multiple jurisdictions including the US, Germany and Europe’s UPC. The conflict triggered lawsuits worldwide as InterDigital sought fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory licensing terms.
4. Market Reaction
InterDigital shares jumped 12% on the day of the announcement, marking the biggest single-day gain since February 2025. Retail sentiment turned bullish following the resolution, reversing some of the stock’s 15% decline so far this year.
