Interface completes social life cycle assessment of natural rubber
TILE•Interface completed a pilot assessment of natural rubber used in select nora flooring products, working with a supplier in Vietnam to establish a social performance baseline.
1. Pilot assessment
Interface conducted the pilot with a supplier in Vietnam, including site visits and interviews with farmers, workers and other stakeholders. The company said it is the flooring industry's first published ISO-compliant assessment covering the life cycle of natural rubber production.
