Q2 sales and earnings
Intrepid Potash said second-quarter sales from continuing operations were nearly flat year over year as softer demand weighed on potash volumes. Adjusted earnings per share rose to $0.56 from $0.30 a year ago.
The company reported second-quarter sales of $66.69 million, compared with the consensus estimate of $64.86 million from two analysts. Adjusted EPS came in at $0.56, versus the consensus estimate of $0.38.
Guidance, capital spending and capital returns
The company raised its 2026 full-year potash production guidance to 290,000 to 300,000 tons and lifted its 2026 full-year Trio® production outlook to 295,000 to 305,000 tons.
