LUNR•Intuitive Machines completes acquisitions of Goonhilly Earth Station and COMSAT
Intuitive Machines completed its previously disclosed acquisition of Goonhilly Earth Station, adding UK deep-space ground-station assets.
It also closed the acquisition of COMSAT, expanding its US- and UK-based ground-station network and antenna capacity.
The combined assets are set to increase communications coverage for lunar and deep-space missions, supporting data transport and PNT services.
The expanded network is expected to be used on upcoming IM-3 and Altus-1 missions, including the company’s first lunar data relay satellite.
