This approach enables infrastructure integration and hands-on experimentation that surpasses cloud-only models.
2. Expansion of educational and research programs
Starting in October 2026, the university will enroll students in a new Quantum Technologies engineering program and launch a master’s degree in quantum computing. The system will also be used for initiatives such as the Polish Quantum Olympiad, hackathons and other innovation-focused events to build local expertise and intellectual property.
3. IQM’s SPAC merger and listing plans
IQM has sold 23 quantum systems worldwide and has filed an F-4 registration to merge with Real Asset Acquisition Corp. Upon closing, IQM intends to list on Nasdaq Global Exchange and subsequently on Nasdaq Helsinki, marking a major step toward becoming the first publicly listed European quantum company.
