IQVIA partners with Medera to advance cardiac gene therapy development

IQVIA entered a strategic collaboration with Medera to speed development of cardiac gene therapies, using IQVIA’s global clinical trial and commercialization platform.
IQVIA will support Medera’s FDA-cleared, first-in-human AAV gene therapy programs with regulatory filings, trial execution, patient recruitment, and data quality.
The partnership also expands use of Medera’s Novoheart mini-Heart human cardiac tissue platform for drug discovery, safety testing, and reduced reliance on animal models.
