IREN completes Mirantis acquisition in cash-and-stock deal valued at $40 million

IREN completed its acquisition of cloud software provider Mirantis, adding an orchestration and monitoring software layer to its AI cloud platform.

Consideration included about 12,600,000 ordinary shares, fixed at signing, alongside cash, restricted stock units, and other consideration worth about $40 million at closing.

The deal expands IREN’s ability to serve hyperscalers, enterprises, and AI developers across bare-metal and managed cloud offerings.

Mirantis brings software engineering capabilities and a base of more than 1,500 enterprise customers; its open-source k0rdent AI platform will continue.
