Iridex Q2 revenue falls as retina sales decline

The company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $51 million to $53 million and expects 2026 adjusted operating expenses of $19 million to $19.5 million.
Iridex also said it plans to increase inventory spending to secure supply chains during a headquarters move. Lower general and administrative expenses helped drive a 5% decline in operating expenses and supported positive operating cash flow.
Glaucoma growth offsets some weakness
Glaucoma product revenue rose 19% year over year, helped by about 35% growth in Cyclo G6 probe sales, according to CEO Patrick Mercer.
Iridex said retina product revenue declined because of disruptions in the Middle East and reduced sell-through in China.
