Japan September factory output rises 2.2% month-on-month

Japan's factory output rose 2.2% in September from the previous month, compared with the median market forecast for a 1.3% increase. Manufacturers surveyed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry expect seasonally adjusted output to rise 5.1% in October and 0.8% in November.
