JD.com Reports RMB2.7 Billion Q4 Net Loss, Partners with DHL for German Brand Expansion

The company signed a memorandum of understanding with DHL to expand German brands in China and Europe via Joybuy.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, JD.com reported a 1.5% year-over-year revenue increase to RMB352.3 billion, falling short of the RMB353.86 billion consensus. The company recorded a net loss of RMB2.7 billion, compared with a net profit of RMB9.9 billion in the same period last year.

2. DHL Partnership Details

JD.com signed a memorandum of understanding with DHL Group to support the growth of German brands in China. The collaboration will focus on innovative logistics and integrated e-commerce solutions to connect German merchants with Chinese consumers.

3. European Expansion Strategy

Through its European platform Joybuy, JD.com plans to bolster German brands’ access to European markets, offering one-stop retail infrastructure and sales channels. This initiative aims to leverage JD.com’s supply chain strengths to facilitate cross-border commerce.
