JD.com Unveils RMB10 Billion GigaGrowth Plan, Partners with BayMar

JD.com launched its 10 Billion GigaGrowth Plan to recruit 1,000 brands and achieve RMB10 billion sales by 2028, signing with BayMar to import premium Spanish canned seafood. The firm rolled out its Joybuy platform in six European countries with same-day JoyExpress delivery and launched an online Spanish Food & Drinks Festival for over 700 million customers.

1. Launch of 10 Billion GigaGrowth Plan

JD.com introduced its GigaGrowth initiative in 2025 to recruit 1,000 international brands over three years and achieve cumulative RMB10 billion cross-border sales by 2028 through strategic actions including centennial brand promotions, National Pavilion expansions and global goods recruitment.

2. BayMar Partnership for Cross-Border Imports

JD.com signed a partnership with BayMar to import premium Spanish canned seafood into China, leveraging its integrated bonded logistics solution and end-to-end support from port pickup to nationwide delivery to ensure product freshness and build consumer trust.

3. Online Spanish Food & Drinks Festival

Simultaneously with the exhibition, JD.com launched a Spanish Food & Drinks Festival on its platform, offering limited-time promotional trials and curated gift sets of Spanish wines and specialties to over 700 million active users.

4. Joybuy Expansion and JoyExpress Delivery

JD.com's Joybuy platform is now live in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Luxembourg, featuring direct sourcing from global partners and same-day JoyExpress delivery for orders placed by 11am to arrive before 11pm.
