JCTC•Jewett-Cameron Trading agreed to sell its surplus seed property in Hillsboro, Oregon, to Washington County for $5.9 million, subject to due diligence and county approval.
The agreement, dated October 19, 2026, gives Washington County an initial 180-day due diligence period, with two possible 30-day extensions costing $50,000 each. Closing is scheduled within 15 days after the inspection periods expire, with a further extension of up to 15 days. Broker commissions totaling 5% of the purchase price are payable at closing.
