The Ministry of Finance will hold a 10-year bond auction on Thursday, followed by a 30-year auction on November 10 and a five-year bond sale on November 12. Nissay Asset Management’s Eiichiro Miura said global yields may pause their recent declines, noting that hyperscalers had shown no signs of slowing investment. He said debt financing by AI firms had widened corporate bond spreads, pressuring sovereign bond yields, while a sell-off in AI shares had recently driven demand for safe-haven bonds.
