J.Jill posted Q2 net income of USD 16.8 million, up 59.56% year over year; diluted EPS rose to USD 1.11.
Net sales edged up 0.5% to USD 154.8 million; total comparable sales increased 0.5%.
Margins and expenses
Gross margin widened to 76.8% from 68.4%, reflecting USD 13.3 million of net tariff refunds; excluding refunds, 68.3%.
SG&A climbed to USD 94.6 million from USD 88.6 million, driven by net new stores, lease renewals, marketing, shipping, and incentive accruals.
