Joby and Virgin Atlantic finalize UK air taxi agreement
Joby Aviation signed a binding, multi-year commercial agreement with Virgin Atlantic to launch electric air taxi services in the UK.
The deal makes Virgin Atlantic Joby’s exclusive UK airline partner, building on Joby’s mutually exclusive partnership with Delta Air Lines.
Initial focus will be on connections via London Heathrow, Central London and Manchester Airport, with network expansion across the UK planned over time.
Virgin Atlantic will sell the service through its app and website; Joby will run operations and pursue UK CAA approvals.
