The upcoming console release of GTA VI on Nov. 19 is seen as a big opportunity, and TTWO's FY27 net bookings outlook is “conservative,” the brokerage said.
JPM said it is adding TTWO shares to the J.P. Morgan Analyst Focus List as a Growth Idea.
Thirty-one of 33 brokerages rate the stock “buy” or higher, with two “hold” ratings, and the median price target is $289.50, according to data compiled by LSEG.
As of the last close, the stock was down about 1% this year.
JPM starts Take-Two with overweight rating
Shares of Take-Two Interactive Software (TTWO.O) edged up 0.6% to $255.00 premarket.
J.P. Morgan assumed TTWO with an overweight rating and a $310 price target, implying an upside of about 22% to the stock's last close.
The brokerage said it believes a “significant portion” of TTWO expenses relates to GTA VI, which will pressure near-term gross margins, with a trough likely in Q3.
