JPMorgan asset and wealth management operations head Julie Harris to retire in 2027

Sept. 17 (Reuters) - Julie Harris, the global head of operations at JPMorgan Chase's JPM.N asset and wealth management (AWM) arm, is set to retire in early 2027, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters on Thursday.

• Under Harris' leadership, the operations team played a vital role in helping JPMorgan's AWM business grow to more than $8 trillion in client assets under supervision from roughly $2 trillion.
• "Julie has been one of the most influential leaders in AWM's transformation over the last decade. Since joining the firm in 2017, she has challenged us to rethink legacy ways of working, championed smarter and more scalable solutions," AWM CEO Mary Callahan Erdoes said in the memo.
• Harris, who joined JPMorgan in 2017, also serves as the chief administrative officer of the AWM arm.
• JPMorgan has chosen Fred Crosnier to lead AWM operations, starting January 1. He will report to Erdoes.
• Crosnier began his career at JPMorgan in France and returned to the firm in 2019 after holding senior leadership roles across the financial services industry. Most recently, he was named deputy head of AWM operations.
• JPMorgan plans to announce the successor for the asset management operations' lead role, which is currently held by Crosnier, in due course.
