K Wave Partners with IGIS to Deploy $2B in AI Infrastructure Over 24 Months
K Wave Ltd has signed a partnership with IGIS Global Properties to deploy up to $2 billion into AI infrastructure assets over 24 months, leveraging IGIS’s $50 billion real assets platform and a $485 million financing commitment. The deal positions K Wave to scale data centers and GPU computing assets.
1. Strategic Partnership Details
K Wave Ltd has entered into a Strategic Partnership Agreement with IGIS Global Properties LLC, part of the IGIS Asset Management platform managing $50 billion in real assets. The agreement targets the deployment of up to $2 billion into AI infrastructure opportunities—including data centers, GPU compute, and power assets—over the next 24 months through joint sourcing, underwriting and co-investment.
2. Capital Commitments and Liability Reduction
This partnership complements K Wave’s existing $485 million committed capital from Anson Funds and the planned divestiture of its subsidiary Play Co., Ltd., which will eliminate approximately $48 million in liabilities. Combined, these moves aim to create a capital-efficient, public-market vehicle for global AI infrastructure investment.
3. AI Infrastructure Expansion and Rebranding
K Wave plans to partner with leading operators across the AI value chain to rapidly scale high-demand infrastructure assets. Subject to shareholder approval at its early July annual meeting, the company intends to rebrand as Talivar Technologies, solidifying its identity as an AI infrastructure-focused platform.
