Kailera reports Phase 1 data showing ribupatide exposure similar across abdomen, arm and thigh sites
KLRA•Kailera said Phase 1 data showed comparable ribupatide exposure and a broadly consistent safety profile across abdomen, arm and thigh injection sites, with no new safety signals reported.
1. Injection-site findings
Kailera highlighted Phase 1 ribupatide injection data previously presented at EASD 2026. The study supported flexible injection-site use, with comparable drug exposure across common sites and no new safety signals reported.
2. Separate KAI-4729 results
Separate Phase 1 results presented by partner Hengrui showed KAI-4729 delivered strong weight-loss signals with tolerability consistent with GLP-1 therapies. Kailera plans to start a Phase 1 KAI-4729 trial outside China in 2026, with data expected in 2027.
