Kairos Pharma and Bayer team up on prostate cancer study
Kairos Pharma entered a strategic collaboration with Bayer to test ENV-105 with Bayer’s Xofigo in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer with bone involvement.
The program targets loss of response to standard therapies; ENV-105 is positioned as a CD105/BMP signaling inhibitor to re-sensitize tumors to radiation-based treatment.
Xofigo is FDA-approved for mCRPC with symptomatic bone metastases; Bayer is also running combination studies including Phase III PEACE-3.
Kairos cited Phase 2 interim data for ENV-105 in advanced prostate cancer showing median progression-free survival of more than 13 months.
