Q2 loss widens as R&D spending rises
- Kardigan posted a Q2 net loss of USD 116.24 million, widening from USD 57.45 million a year earlier.
- R&D expense climbed to USD 56.37 million from USD 35.84 million, driven by higher clinical-trial spending and headcount growth.
- Cash, cash equivalents and investments rose to USD 660.69 million at June 30 from USD 335.49 million at Dec. 31, reflecting IPO proceeds.
- G&A expense eased to USD 18.87 million from USD 21.29 million, on the absence of a prior-year one-time integration bonus.
