Mr. McBean’s career spans the full lifecycle of mineral projects—from initial discovery through feasibility studies to commercial production. His expertise encompasses orogenic gold systems, diamondiferous kimberlite exploration and lithium targets. Investors can expect his strategic oversight to enhance Kestrel’s technical rigour and project advancement in the Canadian Cordillera.

To align Mr. McBean’s interests with those of shareholders, Kestrel granted him options to purchase 1,000,000 common shares, exercisable over the next five years. These long-dated incentive instruments vest immediately and carry an exercise term extending to September 15, 2030. By tying McBean’s remuneration directly to share performance, the company aims to reinforce its commitment to value creation and ensure that management decisions support sustained growth.

Kestrel holds 100% interests—in each case subject to low-percentage net smelter royalty with buy-down provisions—in two orogenic gold projects. The QCM Property, in British Columbia’s Manson-Germanson district, and the KSD Property, in the Yukon’s Tintina Gold Belt, both benefit from proven regional endowment and existing placer production. Recent field programs have identified multiple mineralized zones at surface, positioning the company to launch follow-up drilling this spring and advance both projects toward resource delineation.
